Add anything

Pictures, sounds, videos and fonts.

Click Add files or drag them in from your file manager. Drop on a folder and they go straight inside it. Each file can be up to 4 GB.

  • Images PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, BMP Alert pictures, jump scares, logos. Animated GIFs play wherever you use them.
  • Sounds MP3, WAV, OGG, Opus, FLAC, M4A, AAC Alert chimes and sound effects, with a player to try them.
  • Videos MP4, M4V, WebM, MOV, MKV Looping backgrounds and short clips. WebM plays almost everywhere.
  • Aa Fonts TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2 Your own typefaces for text on overlays.

Checked on the way in. CroStream makes sure a file really is what its name says. SVG pictures are left out, since they can carry code.

No doubles. The same file added twice is only stored once.

Your originals stay put. Files are copied in, so moving or deleting the original changes nothing.

Folders and tags

Tidy enough to find it mid-stream.

Hundreds of files stay easy to browse: nest folders, tag anything, search, and see every picture and video before you pick it.

  • Folders inside folders One for alerts, one for sound effects, one for your Be right back slideshow. Drag files onto a folder to file them.
  • Colored tags Label anything: hype, scary, funny, sub alert. A tag works across every folder.
  • Find it fast Search names and notes, filter by kind or tag, sort by name, date, size or length.
  • A folder is a playlist Slideshow widgets in the gallery show one folder's pictures and videos on an overlay.

One library, everywhere

Add it once, pick it anywhere.

Wherever CroStream wants a picture or a sound, you get the same library, already filtered to the kinds that fit: only images for an image, only sounds for a sound.

Fonts

Your own typefaces, even offline.

Overlay text can use any font on your PC, a free Google font, or a font file you add to the library. Pick a Google font and it's saved into your library once, so it still works on stream without internet.

Drop in a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file and it shows up under My fonts, with a sample line so you can try your own words before you pick it.

A safety net

Delete without the dread.

Deleting a file or folder moves it to the Trash, with an Undo right there. Restore anything you change your mind about. After 30 days the Trash empties itself.

Check before you trash

Actions that play a file on your PC, such as a screen flash, can't use a file that's in the Trash. Restore it and they work again.
