Hotkeys and pop-outs
Your controls, right where you need them.
Start macros from the keyboard while a game has focus. Keep your favorite buttons and your chat in small windows beside the game, and let viewers startle you with a screen flash.
Free Supporter Hotkeys and the Controls window are Free. The Chat window and screen flash are Supporter.
When you press Ctrl+Shift+F7, the be right back macro runs: 1. Switch scene: BRB, 2. Mute the mic, 3. Send chat message, then CroStream replies "Be right back, chat! Grab a drink.". When you press F15, the clip it macro runs: 1. Save replay buffer, 2. Create clip, 3. Send chat message, then CroStream replies "Clipped it! clips.twitch.tv/BraveOwl". When you press Alt+1, the gameplay macro runs: 1. Switch scene: Gameplay, 2. Unmute the mic.
Global hotkeys
One key press, a whole macro.
Works in games, in OBS, even with CroStream minimised. No alt-tab.
Press it anywhere
A hotkey is a key combination that runs a macro wherever your focus is: in a game, in OBS, with CroStream minimised. Clip the last moment, switch to your Be right back scene, mute the mic, fire a sound.
Set one up by clicking the Keys box and pressing the combination. That is all. Pick the macro and save.
- Up to four modifiers (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Super) plus one key.
- Every combination needs a modifier, except F13 to F24.
- Windows works out of the box. macOS asks once for the Accessibility permission. Linux works on X11 desktops.
- Ctrl Shift MMute the mic
- Alt 1Switch to Gameplay
- F15Clip it
- Ctrl Alt BBe right back
Macro pads
Stream Deck style, no extra software.
Any keypad that can send F13 to F24 becomes a button deck for your macros.
A button deck, without the deck
F13 to F24 exist on many macro keypads and stream controllers, and nothing else listens to them, which makes them perfect hotkeys. Set the device's button to send, say, F15, then press that button while the Keys box is listening.
Prefer a Stream Deck that calls a web address? Webhooks can start a macro too. Supporter
Controls window
A control panel beside the game.
Scene buttons, pinned macros and status lights in a window as small as 300 by 360 pixels.
The buttons you actually use
The main window is big. Mid-stream you want a few buttons, so the Controls window is a small separate window you can put on a second monitor or beside your game.
- Live status, with the OBS Stream and Rec lights.
- Your OBS scenes as buttons.
- The macros you pinned, and Clear the screen flash.
- Pin it to keep it on top, even over a game in windowed or borderless mode.

Chat window
Read and moderate chat on a second screen.
Live chat in its own window, with the moderation buttons on every message.
Chat, without alt-tabbing
The Chat window is a small chat client for your stream. It follows your Twitch chat live, and you can talk and moderate from it.
- Badges, colored names and emotes, as on Twitch.
- Messages that mention you are highlighted, and a chatter's first message is marked so you can say hello.
- Hover a message to delete it, time the chatter out for 10 minutes or ban them.
- Scroll up and chat pauses while you read; a button jumps you back.

Screen flash
Surprise the streamer, safely.
A jump scare over your game, paid for in channel points, with a panic button in reach.
Let chat startle you
Flash an image over your own monitor for a moment, right over your game. Viewers love to trigger it with channel points or bits: a jump scare, a GET GOOD banner, a face filling your screen. It can play a sound too.
It never steals your keyboard focus, every click goes through to the game, and it fades away by itself. If you ever need it gone at once, there is a panic button: a hotkey, a button in the Controls window and the tray menu.
