OBS and Twitch actions

Nearly a hundred actions, OBS and Twitch.

Switch a scene, save the replay, clip the moment, start a poll, shout out a raider, time out a troll. Every step is a ready-made action you pick from a list, and each one can hand what it learned to the next.

Free OBS and Twitch actions are free.

When mod_owl types !clip in chat, the clip macro runs: 1. Save replay buffer, 2. Create clip, 3. Send chat message, then CroStream replies "@mod_owl clipped it! clips.twitch.tv/BraveOwl". When mod_owl types !so nova_k in chat, the shoutout macro runs: 1. Shout out a channel, 2. Send announcement, then CroStream replies "Go give nova_k some love!". When A hype train just started!, the hype macro runs: 1. Switch scene: Hype, 2. Show source: Confetti, 3. Send announcement, then CroStream replies "All aboard! Choo choo!". When lunarfox redeems Mute me, the mute me macro runs: 1. Mute microphone, 2. Wait 10 seconds, 3. Unmute microphone, then CroStream replies "Ten seconds of silence! Thanks, @lunarfox".

OBS Studio

Run OBS without touching it.

Connect once and macros can switch scenes, show a confetti source, mute your microphone, change a text label and save the replay. CroStream reconnects by itself every time.

Steps that talk

Each step hands the next one what it found.

A Clip step reports the link to the new clip, and the next step puts it in chat. Some actions run on OBS and Twitch together, so one step does both jobs.

How outputs work

OBS Twitch

2Send chat message

Twitch

Moderator mod_owl !clip

CroStream Clipped it, mod_owl! https://clips.twitch.tv/BraveOwl

Shared actions run on both sides

Pick which integration runs a step, or leave it empty to run on every one that is connected.

  • Clip Saves the OBS replay and creates a Twitch clip
  • Marker Adds a Twitch stream marker and an OBS recording chapter
  • Switch scene Switches the OBS scene
  • Send chat message Posts to Twitch chat
