Viewers and points

Know your regulars, reward them.

CroStream keeps a record for every viewer: how long they have watched, what they have said, what they have given, and a points balance your macros control. All of it stays on your own computer.

01 A record for every viewer

Everyone who has been in your chat, remembered.

Open Viewers to ask "how long has this person been around?" Search by name, sort by points, watch time or bits, and filter to your regulars. Free

  • Watch time, counted every minute you are live, lurkers included
  • Messages, bits, subs, gifted subs, rewards and raids
  • Follow status and date, kept in sync with Twitch
  • A name change keeps the same record
  • Your own private notes on anyone

02 Earn points your way

Pick how viewers earn. Everything starts off.

Points are whole numbers, free on every plan. Flip on the rules you want and CroStream pays viewers while you are live. Every payment is written to that viewer's ledger with the reason, so you can always see where a balance came from.

  • Name your points: coins, gems, seeds
  • Pay for chatting, watching, following, subs, gifts, cheers and raids
  • A rule left empty or at 0 stays off, so nothing is earned until you choose
  • Bots and ignored viewers never earn

03 Give, take and look up

Your macros run the shop.

Points are not a closed system. Any trigger can pay them, charge them or read them back into chat. A viewer who cannot afford something is not an error: the macro simply answers "you need 100 coins."

  • Change points: add, subtract or set a balance
  • Spend points: takes them only if the viewer can afford it, so two buyers can never spend the same coins
  • Get points and rank, for a !points command
  • Top viewers, for a !top command
  • Give points to everyone watching, or to one other viewer
Points actions, in the docs

When lunarfox types !points in chat, the My points macro runs: 1. Get points and rank (lunarfox), 2. Send chat message, then CroStream replies "@lunarfox, you have 12,450 coins and are #2.". When nova_k types !buy in chat, the Buy a shoutout macro runs: 1. Spend points (100 coins), 2. If the purchase went through, 3. Shout out a channel, then CroStream replies "@nova_k bought a shoutout and has 4,020 coins left.". When mod_owl types !top in chat, the Leaderboard macro runs: 1. Top viewers (top 5 by points), 2. Send chat message, then CroStream replies "Top 5: pixelpanda 15,800 · lunarfox 12,450 · mod_owl 9,900 · nova_k 4,120 · quillbert 980".

04 Leaderboards

Your top supporters, with the bots kept out.

Switch the Viewers page to your points view and the leaderboard is right there. Put it on stream with a leaderboard widget, or post it in chat with a !top command.

  • A live top 25 by points, one click from any viewer
  • Ranks on every viewer: "#3 by points, #12 by watch time"
  • Common bots are ignored for you, and you can add any account
  • Ignored viewers keep their record, they just never earn or rank

05 Bring them with you

Moving from another bot? Your viewers' points come along.

Open More, then Import, pick the file, and choose whether to add or replace. Every imported change shows up in the viewer's ledger. Viewer records and points are kept until you delete them.

  • Import from StreamElements, Streamlabs or any spreadsheet saved as CSV
  • Add to what viewers have, or replace it
  • Export every viewer as CSV or JSON whenever you like
  • Records live in a database on your PC, with no account and no cloud copy

  3. Add a !top command

The bot posts your five richest viewers in chat.
  4. Show a leaderboard on stream
